Bear Canyon to Seven Falls Trail

Bear Canyon to Seven Falls Trail-1

If you’re looking for a hiking and walking trail that’s accessible through all seasons, then hit up Bear Canyon to Seven Falls Trail. For those that want a half day hike, you can be rewarded with a waterfall and some private swimming. The trail difficulty is moderately difficult with some steep inclines, but that doesn’t stop it from being one of the more popular and heavily trafficked paths in Tucson.

    •
    • Santa Catalina Mount Lemmon Loop

    • Santa Catalina Mount Lemmon LoopTucson offers some great hikes for backpackers and campers, with the Santa Catalina Mount Lemmon Loop featuring a gorgeous waterfall, pristine air, and some challenging inclines. Enjoy a downhill path that offers excellent views and photo ops of the surrounding Santa Catalina Natural Area. The best time to go is during cloudier days, as there is little shade and an uphill journey to the waterfall.

    • Tanque Verde Falls Trail

Tanque Verde Falls TrailOne of the most dog friendly trails in Tucson is the Tanque Verde Falls Trail. Take your pooch out along a 1.8 mile stretch of moderate difficulty, but your efforts will be rewarded with a flowing stream, picturesque waterfalls, and great views. Go early and avoid the crowds. The best time of year to visit is in early Spring, when cacti and wildflowers are blooming.

    Bridal Wreath Falls Trail

    Bridal Wreath Falls Trail-1

Located in Saguaro National Park East, Bridal Wreath Falls Trail features over 5 miles that offers great views of Tucson and multiple waterfalls. Initial part of the trail is mostly flat, though expect a steep incline and some scrambling to really experience this trail. Best times to visit are from March to October.
