Keewaydin Island

-
Keewaydin Island is a beautiful barrier island located between Naples and Marco Island, known for its pristine, undeveloped nature. The thing is, you can only access Keewaydin Island by boat! But don’t worry, as there are many boat rentals and shuttles available to get to Keewaydin Island from the shore. If you are coming from Naples, then the Hemingway water shuttle, which goes to and from the island seven times a day, is a great way to get there. Additionally, Keewaydin Island is perfectly pet-friendly, so bring your pup along!

Sand Dollar Island

-
Sand Dollar Island is a short wade across the water at Tigertail beach, and at Sand Dollar Island you can find magnificent bird habitats and some of the best shelling that Florida has to offer. Sand Dollar Island is a barrier island in the making, so you can see some of the most beautiful, undisturbed wildlife around when you make the trek across the small body of water to Sand Dollar Island from Tigertail Beach. Make sure to check in with local officials such as lifeguards to see when is an appropriate time to cross the water to avoid any issues coming back with moving tides, and to make sure that the bird habitats are not closed off for protection during the time of your visit.
